Chrissy Lorenzo
Chrissy Lorenzo is a 20-something college graduate, Cleveland-based writer, blogger, twin, sister, daughter and self-confessed girly girl with a lifelong passion for writing. When other girls were headed to cheerleading practice, Chrissy was in an after-school writing club - uber-cool, right? (She tends to think so.) She has always had an inherent knack for fashion and style, stretching back circa 1989 when she would only wear dresses and, of course, pile on the gypsy jewelry and Mom's blush for a trip to the toy store.
Although Chrissy's style has become a bit more refined since, she still wears a dress any chance she gets, and she does love her jewelry. After earning her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Sociology from the University of Toledo, Chrissy realized that her unique degree could open doors to writing by focusing on hot topics in the social and fashion world, like seasonal and celebrity style for less, fun, money-saving beauty ideas, and makeup how-tos. She is constantly being influenced by the world around her and sees new trends or color schemes wherever she goes. Also relentless in helping her brothers (to their dismay) reinvent their own style, she would be happy living life as a personal shopper.
Chrissy loves dancing, shopping, sushi, vintage style, Kevin James' humor, daydreaming, a good laugh, Stacy London, HGTV, watching awards shows, and fall weather. She also enjoys many hobbies, and in her spare time loves to bake, scrapbook, write, sew, read, create and call herself a photographer.
She loves spending time with her family and also has a major soft spot for her dog, Sophie. Her late grandmother, Anne, has influenced her in many ways and she still looks back to her endearing spirit, timeless grace and classic elegance (à la Grace Kelly/Jackie O) for style - and life - inspiration.

As a woman in her mid-20s, Chrissy noticed a lack in the fashion world for Misses clothing that wasn't too mature in style yet that still kept away from the juniors department, and was also - most importantly - budget-conscious. As a result, her blog was born: Class to Classy (www.classtoclassy.com) is the first blog exclusively geared towards 20-something savvy shoppers who are in a transition from college to the real world. Not sure how to dress for the weekday now that you're not cramming for exams? Need to look more mature and interview-ready? Don't know what to wear for a night out, and strapped for cash, or stuck in a rut of still dressing in sweats and a hoodie like you're on your way to class? Chrissy's blog gives style advice to young women, showing them how to embrace their 20s with classy trendiness that shows off their personality.
Class to Classy focuses on re-using items in your wardrobe, and changing your go-to college outfit (using affordable retailers, of course) and style (hair and makeup included!) to one that reflects a more professional, grown-up (but still hottie patottie!) image. It's easier than you think, and Chrissy shows you how!
